Food Fare

"Food Fare is located on the corner of Maryland Street and Westminster Avenue in the Wolsely neighbourhood of Winnipeg. It is a staple of the area serving the local community with everything from fresh meat, fresh vegetables, dairy to household items. The staff is friendly and there’s a real communities vibe here. The prices are understandably higher than what you would pay at a major grocery retailer but that’s expected. There is free parking located adjacent to the building. It’s located directly opposite Westminster Church and is very easy to get to."

"I first started shopping here with my father-in-law 30 years ago. Even though I no longer live in the neighborhood I still come to shop at Maryland Food Fare. I like the experience of a smaller family store & the weekly sales especially in the meat department. I find much better deals tha larger stores."
